Day 15 - January 15 A Toast

A Toast

I propose a toast
Good health and happiness
May your sister not fall
And your brother not be culpable.
To eating pizza and applesauce
To eating pepper free of cost
Lift coke zero to Les Mis*,
And to Red and Black
Drink down your fizz.
To wearing white
To changing names
To wearing black
To honor Ames.
In the cake of life,
May your salt be few
(But if it is not,
There's a class I'll refer you to).
In a similar toast,
May the Beerbowers be
A spice to your life
But not too closely.
A serious toast:
To a good afternoon.
May you be civilized
And use a spoon.
To laughing without getting choked
And may your toast all reach your throat
May no backwash be in your cup
As we race to drink it up.
If for such a toast
From your family you're disowned,
Come back here, toast, and
"Consider yourself at home."

  3. Sorry, guys. My apologies. Coke zero, pepsi, makes no difference to me. It's fixed.
